Wow, 1000 comics. That’s quite the milestone, don’t you think?
I’ve only been here for just over 1/4 of them (I started on page 714), but I’m so proud to be a part of this project (and CD’s other comic, I Dream of a Jeanie Bottle).
For those who may not remember, Heather was kidnapped by her father as a newborn. She’s not fully aware of all the details of that incident, however.

Since Heather still thinks their father kidnapped both of them, am I correct in guessing that she has not actually spoken to him about it, despite knowing his situation? If she had, I’d expect him to have revealed that he only kidnapped one baby, and possibly that the other baby was a boy. I suppose that can still happen in an upcoming comic, leading to some awkward questions for Bay. 😀
Also, iirc, Bay is somewhat of an atheist, so I’m not sure that quoting that particular bible verse will sway her.

(I mean,Her(his) mom should the truth now.
Not only the truth htat her son Brad is now her daughter Bay,and eitier the truth that her OTHER daughter Heather is still alive,but also the truth that girl she helped who was looking for her mom back in page 503(that’s back in Nov. 2010)….is her grand daughter.)
Oh,and for the record.Had Bay every told Heather anything about Brad?
Because if she did,than it most be a long time ago so that I forgot.
(Being a regular fan since many years ago,it’s easy to forget earlier details.)
While I was editing this page, I made the same realization about Bay’s mom. I definitely hope that she eventually gets informed about all these very important things regarding her family.

I see a potential problem with that: it was never made clear whether Bay’s recovered memories (after visiting the cemetery) included knowledge of her mother’s new stationery store at/near the airport and new phone number (since the old phone number was disconnected). She could contact the Canadian phone company and ask, though, right? Er, wait… Her mother’s name is Mary Smith, right? That could make it difficult.
Isn’t Bay’s mom dead?
Not as far as we know. See comic 544 in the archives for her most recent non-flashback appearance. We can hope she hasn’t died between then and now.
Then who was at the cemetery Bay visuted?

Hey, Jesus might have said forgive but he never said nothing about forgetting. Bay can forgive that douchebag and still not invite him to the wedding.
It is said that God forgives but nature does not.
Having been “sinned” against by my own father, I hope that Bay holds her ground on not letting him be such an important part of her big day. Just because you forgive someone does NOT mean you have to let them remain a part of your life. My father was (thankfully) in prison when I got married so I didn’t have to listen to people push him walking me down the aisle. We all knew he wouldn’t be released for it. He was free for my sister’s wedding, but she also chose not to have him there. I walked myself, she had one of our younger brothers walk her.
They were beautiful days not made awkward by family and friends asking who that man was. Not the time or place to do so.
I have forgiven him, but I’ve also stripped him of the title of Dad. I see him now and again, but not at family functions.
Stay strong, Bay! You don’t have to have him there!!!
“Find the Typo” This is a fun game and a good way to cover your butt if you made a mistake or perhaps intentionally put that “mistake” there.
I’ve been seriously out of sorts for the last few weeks. I copy edit for another major TG comic, and I’ve missed half a dozen mistakes on that one in the last week alone. I’m seriously losing my edge, for some reason.
What would be the name of that other TG comic?

That’s not the only scene/group it could go back to. There’s also Honey and Crystal headed to the HRC (strip #998, so possibly a bit early to go back to them), and Trav challenged Auction Guy to a Mario Kart competition back in strip #955.
