OK, some back story needed – and I hope it’s coming. We know perfectly well that Bay’s not an orphan, so why did she tell Heather that?
probably because bay was her twin brother not her twin sister, and their mother does not know about the TG incident.
Or she didn’t tell Heather that, but Heather was told that the man who dropped her off was her father, and so never thought to ask Bay.
When I asked CD that, he said there will be plenty more explanation of Heather’s mistaken info in the upcoming comics.
If everyone had gone to the linked strip in the write-up, you would have seen that the dirt-bag only stole one of the twins. I’m guessing it was Heather and that Brad/Bay was never stolen. Just told Heather that to avoid weird questions. If Heather was adopted at age one, she probably didn’t really remember that period in the orphanage all that well. After all, how well do you remember your first year of life? 🙂
Or is she telling the tale to try to distract him from asking the wrong (right) questions?
