Crystal may recognize that this is Ethan, but will anybody pay attention to her trying to tell them?
Honey does NOT look happy to see David. She is either about to Punch him out, turn and run away crying, Or…..BOTH. Unless David can very quickly explain, and Ethan keeps quiet, and Crystal is quick with that Keyboard.
I had been wondering what kind of specialist David was taking “Honey” to, and now we know. However, given their expressions, I think both Crystal and Honey might be too upset to listen to David trying to explain the situation. I must admit I had not anticipated their reactions to seeing David and girlified Ethan together, but now that I think about it, it makes sense.
Somewhat off topic of the current comic: I just noticed that the “first appearance” linked for Crystal is actually for when Honey altered herself with Crystal’s uncompiled helix. Shouldn’t it be for Crystal’s first appearance as a separate character? If I’m not mistaken, that was in comic 436, just after David’s first appearance.
That may be an effect of our yet-to-be-completed tagging of the archive. The earlier comics are not at all organized, yet.
I re-skimmed the archives, and I was way off on Crystal’s first appearance as a separate character, and David’s first appearance is a bit off as well (just in case others don’t want to wait for tagging to be completed):
Crystal’s first appearance as a separate character: strip 253 (titled “08/27/2008”)
David’s sketch appearance as a “yet to be seen character”: unnumbered filler comic (titled “04/29/2009”)
David’s first real appearance: strip 417 (titled “01/11/2010”)
It’s like looking at a different version of yourself.

if you remember, Ethan didn’t turn himself into Honey. He turned himself into a girl. Crystal added the ‘Honey like hair’ when she got a hold of Ethan’s computer.
Why does girl Ethan look similar to Honey… Well, you’ll have to go back and read some comics to figure that out.
I hope Crystal can diffuse this situation before it completely blows up.
If she’s able to talk, she hasn’t since the surgery, and it’s likely it’d only lead to more problems. If she’s not able to talk, well, good luck to her.
She has to stay silen t – remember the guy hanging on her ankle, calling her “Goddess” when Honey met her on the street?
Her siren voice is back.
I think you mean “defuse”, but since Crystal probably doesn’t fully understand what her kiss did to Ethan (iirc, her kisses didn’t have that effect before the complications with temporarily losing her siren powers and meeting the real sirens), or why not wearing glasses delayed the effect and made David the target of said effect once she put some on, that will make it difficult (even setting aside Crystal’s muteness).
Who was at the cemetery Bay visited?
Does any body know the frequency of this comic just asking because I really enjoy it.
