Ams is an alternate future version of Teri. He is from the same timeline as Honey. Ams cosiders himself a cat-cassanova and often spends time in that pursuit.
Electronics University student. Attends the same school as Honey and David. He is Crystal's love interest, but is so shy as to be nearly oblivious to her affections.
I have a feeling I may regret asking this, but I’ll ask it anyway: does anyone have a clue what Teri thinks that means? I understand David’s use of the idiom, but Teri’s reaction has me really confused.
That’s true. Checking the Teri and Ams tags, their breed and feelings about water have not been previously established in the comic. My first thought for “breed of cat that likes water” was Maine Coon, which they’re rather small for, but a quick Google search revealed that’s not the only breed of domestic cat that likes water.
That explain something about our cat, Stubby. He spent most of his time in the woods, he would come back for a few days, then leave again. To get there he had to cross water. That was about 53 years ago.
@CD Rudd I stand corrected. In my defense, I was only checking the lists of comics tagged as including Teri and/or Ams, since I didn’t feel like re-archiving the entire comic to check, and Comic 210 has no tags (at least as of me posting this reply).
Wow, a completely logical reaction to a situation. That’s not something you’d usually see. Normally you’d get them trying to figure out what’s wrong single-handedly or in the case of the boyfriend, you’d just see them go along with it.
Which is kinda what Crystal did with Ethan and Dawn… hmm.

Maybe Teri likes to swim? Some breeds of cat are pretty comfortable in water.

MauveCloud, I’d Draw your attention to
COMIC 210

One of these days, we have to finish tagging all the comics…
I don’t think Teri has any idea where the deep end is. He’s probably thinking it’s a fun place to be if Honey was there.
My guess is that he just wants to be where Honey is.
And finally, the alert klaxons are going off in David’s head. Hmmm, I wonder if the real Honey will meet Ethan-as-Honey.
That would be a fun meeting. I imagine David would temporarily lose his ability to speak coherent words if that happens.

Oh my God it’s logical reasoning and sensible action. This wont end well. 🙂
