973 : Who Saw That Coming?

A lot of things have been building up to this showdown. I know it might seem sudden, but there’s a method to the madness.
Who’s the mystery man who barged in, shot up the place, and left? Could it have been the baby kidnapper from the first comic way back at the beginning of the chapter? Maybe he’s cleaning up the mess he started all those years ago.
Maybe he knows something yet to be revealed. Bay, Berry, Heather, and Honey could all be demons yet to take on demonic form?
Maybe Morgan arranged her revenge on Bay and Honey, with Berry and Heather being innocent victims?
Maybe Crystal REALLY wants to be the star of the comic and have David all to herself?
Or maybe it an homage to the current date and not a real comic at all…
Well, I have to say it: I am both impressed and shocked. Even for an April Fool’s joke, I rarely see bloodshed/murder in a TG webcomic or manga.
Shock was also my exact response when CD gave me this comic to edit. Even with the good fortune of having been reminded of the upcoming prank day a few hours before seeing it, and thus immediately recognizing it for what it was, I was still like “DAMN dude. You have a DARK sense of humor.”
Except Exiern. That one is pretty brutal. Part of why I liked it… at least until the story lost me.

My associate and I have concluded that the figure in black is none other than the narrator. His neglect throughout the comics has left him seething with rage and after he kills the main characters, he intends to go after the comic’s staff. Berry and Bay did not recognise him as it has been so long since they last spoke.
CD, if you’re reading this, PLEASE tell us this is an April Fool’s joke, if it’s not, YOU’RE GONNA LOSE A WHOLE LOTTA FANS!!! and this AIN’T no joke!!
If you read the post under the comic, it does reveil that this is indeed a April Fools joke comic.
(IF it WAS real, I’d think by killing off the main cast of the comic would probably mean no more comics.. So fan count wouldn’t really matter if it was real.)
