Pretty sure you mean the first film (which i refuse to call “A New Hope”, since it wasn’t called that when it was released and i first saw it.)
Actually you’re both right. In “A New Hope” (:P at Fairportfan), Leia gives Luke a quick kiss “for luck” before swinging across a pit during their escape on the Death Star. However THE kiss (the one the fanboys talk about), is where a rather riled (due to Han) Leia puts Luke in a full liplock for about a minute while Luke is in Sickbay recovering from his kidnapping by the Ice Monster on Hoth.
Wow, talk about my bad memory rearing its head. I watched A New Hope (Despecialized Edition) just two weeks ago to psych myself up for The Force Awakens, and I completely forgot about the “For luck!” peck on the cheek.
Yeah, no, the kiss in Empire Strikes back is way more intimate and can’t excuse itself from not knowing about the incest, considering it was the same movie that hinted the possibility of Leia becoming a Jedi.
