Electronics University student. Attends the same school as Honey and David. He is Crystal's love interest, but is so shy as to be nearly oblivious to her affections.
I think that the glasses part is the least concern. Running off without even a note, and cutting her hair, are probably worse. That pose SO says “Just WHAT have you been doing with my body?” At least she knows them well enough that “You’ve been doing perverted stuff” won’t be her first assumption . . .
Not from a technical standpoint. If Honey was Far-sighted, those frames would be fine…perfect even. She’d use them to look down on nearby stuff and wouldn’t need them. However, Honey’s actions show her to be exceedingly NEAR sighted. And while those frames might help her read her phone, she looks over them to see the horizon…a distant object…in which case the lenses help her not. Her eyes will continue to deteriorate. In fact, using the glasses part time may actually make them go faster due to the eyestrain of focusing back and forth.
Of course, maybe I should remember it’s just a comic and I really should just relax…
If Honey got her drivers license with uncorrected eyes it means her far vision is okay. Therefore it is only her close in (reading distance) focus that needs correction, in which case that style glasses should be fine. (She can do most things without glasses, just reading, watch making, needle point, etc. would require correction foe which those style lenses would be fine.)
@Timotheus hang on, does this version of Honey have her driver’s license yet? I know short-haired Honey from the first alternate earth had it, as well as a jeep, but her eyes could have been slightly different.
@Ran-San, yes glasses should be functional first, then you can select for fashion. As another near-sighted (since 5th grade) I have gone for the largest lens I can get, without it being too heavy to stay put. Field Of View is much more important than some random strangers opinion of my (lack of) fashion sense. And believe that those I call friends do not care about the shape of my prostheses.
Thank You Captain Obvious! Lol, this has to be the best page yet. I really can’t wait to see what Honey says in the next comic…
You’re going to find the next page particularly fun, I think. It ends in a way I was not expecting at all.
* Oops *
We’ll go out and come back in saying something not-stupid.
I don’t know if she is more pissed off about the glasses, the haircut, or no one leaving a message about where they were and what they were doing.
(It would be strange to find yourself in another body and getting a phone call from someone in your body.)

Don’t underestimate a girl’s hair-senses.
Honey looks cute with the glasses. She is better looking as well lol.
I agree! They chose a good pair of frames for her.

Does that mean Honey should go back to the Melvin frame?!
