How do you come to that conclusion? He’s following up “you may be stuck forever” with (paraphrased) “but I have a potential solution”.
There’s no mention of anything even possibly related to a solution

Hmm, could he mean sexual reassignment surgery?
Maybe the Helix guy is going to grab one of those TG ray guns, zap David with the female setting on, switch it to a male setting, and zap him again. Or maybe it will be even crazier.
Maybe he’s gonna call Ellen and invite her to do a guest shot.
