Epilogue – Tom & Dawnie

Topaz, huh? Cute name.
And it looks like Dawnie’s made her way up in the world, if she’s already earned the rank of Priestess. Though it probably has been quite some time since she arrived on the island, since Tom’s cocoon has now hatched.

Sapphire still looks like she is mad at him for putting her through all that she did back when she was Tom.
So if Dawnie is a Priestess, a wonder what that would make Dawn if David turned back into her and visited the island?
I will miss the sirens so much, I understand that the more we got of them the further away we were getting of Bay’s plot, but there is so much to learn and see of them, they could have had their own comic and everything! None the less, good to see Dawnie on last time and who knows, with how long the sirens live, she could live to see a day where sirens and the mainland can get along.
Yeah. Someone needs to make a Sirens spin-off comic. Not you, Carlos! You have your hands full with Melvin & Co.

Her expression in Panel 3 makes me feel bad for Tom . . . I mean Topaz, gonna have to get used to that. And I have no doubt that Sapphire and Jade are going to make her life Hell, all over something she no longer remembers having caused. It also appears that, if Dawnie hadn’t called her Topaz, she was going to remember her original name, if nothing else.
Know what? I wonder if Honey and David have any visitation rights regarding their mutant daughter/clone, or do the sirens function like the Jedi Order and prevent the kids from seeing their parents? And if so, how will Bay and Co. react when Dawnie comes to take her aunt away?
Well, Dawnie is the new Priestess, so in time she may be able to improve the relations between the people of the mainland and the sirens, I mean, the Sirens may known very little of modern society, but if people can live alongside clones, time travelers, Neko Girls, and succubus, they can live with sirens.
As for Topas, yeah, Saphire and Jade may be jerks with her now, but looking back at their first appearance, that is kind of their thing with the other sirens in general, I am sure that Dawnie and Tippy will help her to adapt, besides, now she can fufill “her dream” to learn everything about sirens!… thought, I wonder if she is weak to sirens voice as Dawn was? yet again, Dawnie is a goddess among sirens now with her super voice, so she can make sure nobody abuse their powers.
Who else would be a Priestess but a Siren who can control other Sirens? The only question I have is has Dawnie become the new queen. If Dawnie can control the old queen, well, yes.
Note that Greg Pearl/Pearl Greg/Topaz is also another pair of grandparents for Dawnie; she got her Siren powers from Crystal, an imperfect copy of Pearl.
And I just screwed up. Topaz is Tom, not Pearl Greg/Greg Pearl. But I think I’m still right about the qualifications for Siren Priestess.
If it helps, Tom-Topaz is still the creator of Crystal and the engineer behind Dawnie, so they are still related on the long and complex family tree that it’s the Smith family.
Yeah, I wouldn’t be that sure she actually EARNED the title.She might get it in first minute after seeing the queen.
Was a queen ever mentioned? Do they even have a queen?
@Ben The Siren Queen as far as we know, should be The Priestess, back on Sapphire and Jade first appearance they alude to the Priestess as the one who order them to look for Dawn, the one who forbid Pearl to leave the island and the one who can sense new Sirens all over the world. Under what circumstances Dawnie became the new Priestess are unknown, and probably will remain that way.
Quick edit, they mention a HIGH Priestess, whatever Dawnie is one of many priestess or is in fact the new High Priestess is not clear, in any case, she is clearly in a position of authority now.
All I can say is: good riddance to Tom.
I wish Dawnie hadn’t needed to go with the Sirens… but at least she finally got a kitty of her own. 🙁
Hey Robert. Could you mention to CD that at least myself and maybe some others would like to know what happened to the accountant that Tom turned into a Siren? I know he/she was a very minor character, but as a test subject of Tom’s I would like to know.
Also didn’t Tom engineer the Siren serum so that the resulting Siren was rather dumb and ditzy, so won’t that make Topaz the same? Of course even if it didn’t and she retains Tom’s high intelligence, I doubt the Sirens will allow her to conduct any science research.

I’m planning a few more epilogues. Sadly this was all I could get done before I left for work. Future Epilogues will be posted, here, on DA, and Patreon. You can also sign up to the left (just under the comic) for the Hiatus Emails. Robert or myself will Email when new comics are posted, so people don’t have to keep checking the site and finding no updates.

I hope that this isn’t the last epilogue page! They’re so many characters left that we haven’t learnt what their final outcomes are!
How Honey and David do in their relationship? Crystal and Ethan’s too? Is Ethan’s in charge at the HRC now? What about that serum-injected accountant, is he “she” still infected as a siren? Did Honey get to go to her university or she is doing work for that “Honey Heart” project? Is David playing professional basketball maybe? Did Robin and Bay managed to patch things up between themselves? Is Bay’s soon to be born child is a boy or girl? Multiples maybe? Does Matthew (Ethan’s brother) finds himself a new love crush? What is Brad (original male Brad) doing now? Are Heather and Brady going to see their newest family member at the hospital? Does Morgan gets her “just desserts” for her love stunt? Do Chris and Doug eventually as well? Do Neko and the others get back to their adult selves? Will Robert still be an intern at the studio?
See?! There’s so many loose ends left to tie up here! Please don’t leave it all up to us to fill in the gaps with our fan-fictions and wild imaginations!
I forgot about Cleo too. Is she “he” still a male?
Cleo should be back to normal, the problem was that she and Ams swap helices, the gender ones in this case, but because Ams was pregnant they couldn’t swap back until he give birth to their kittens, but if Ams if back to normal that means he got his male helix back, so it should be the same for Cleo and her female one.
For my part, I surely want to see how Bay pretend to explain to Jeeves her new family dynamic now that her mother is back in her live, remember, Mary believes that Bay is “Claire”, that clone Brad is her original Brad, and doesn’t know about Heather nor Brady, but Jeeves knew about both of them and also believed that Bay and Heather were kidnaped together, not to mention nobody told him about new Brad, so that is going to be a lot to explain when he meets his new mother in law.
There will be more epilogues made. Not everything on the list will be addressed though. So I’ll address a few now.
Do Neko and others get back to there adult self?
– I’m planning on continuing Neko & Co’s adventures on Patreon as a ‘as-I-make them schedule’. So you’ll find out then.
Will Robert still be an intern at the studio
– Well technically he isn’t a intern at the moment, he’s the studio’s ‘Pet-Elephant’ (cause he’s paid in peanuts ;D ). But we plan to keep him on. Someone has to continue to check JeanieBottle and Wolfpac. Plus he keeps Katy distracted.
– We may look into getting Robert a better title if Wolfpac and JeanieBottle do well after the hiatus.
Wait, do we actually have to pay Robert?! I can’t afford any peanuts!

Any reason you couldn’t mail a thumb drive back and forth to have someone else upload content over this lengthy hiatus? Unless of course the mail service where you’ll be is as bad as the internet.
The problem isn’t just internet speed. It’s availability of free time.
Also I think mail would be a pretty big issue, too.
Dawnie seems to move up pretty fast for about 9 months or is she just an apprentice.
It’s possible that this is more than nine months later. The only epilogue we’re sure is related to the “9 months” is the one with Bay and “Berry”.
Though at the same time… Dawnie’s by far the most powerful siren on the island, since she can control the other Sirens if she wants to. That kind of power leads to fast promotion.
I am going to miss the sailor sun comic, been reading it since the fan fics.
