Maybe he’s crying because he feels that he:
#1: harmed Crystal by taking her Siren-ness (and sexy figure) away from her
2: harmed David by making him into a Siren
and 3: “betrayed” his feelings for Crystal by being unintentially charmed by Siren-David.
I was wondering the same, so I asked CD. Ethan is sad that Siren-David left, because he’s still affected by her hypno-speech.
I was pretty close.
At least David had the presence of mind to grab the choker before she left.
Since “powers” were mentioned, is this like the island of Wonder Woman, with bullet prof bracelets, truth lassos, spandex bustiers and transparent airplanes?
If they had all that, I don’t think they’d need their hypnotizing song. Notice what Jade said in panel 1 of the previous comic.
Who is Slren? Check the tags.
In this case, I believe that “Siren” is being used as a descriptive tag, rather than a person’s name.
But the tag only show the last five comics, and Crystal has been with us since story 6.
I’ll field this one,
We only started using Tags recently.
Since there is 773+ comics and fillers, we didn’t go back and tag ALL the old comics (Some of the old comics with unique characters and situations have been tagged). Taging all the old comics means there is a high risk of messing up the comic’s data (like the comic order).
We did update the tags on all the JeanieBottle comics, and there was some messing up with the comic order, which took a little work to fix. After this we decided it was best not to tag all the Sun.org Comics.
I was just making reference to the 1980s TV series Wonder Woman were the women of Amazon Island were all Beautiful, sexy, wore the same outfits, and could fight. If CD draws Cloris Leachman as the high priestess we will know he saw the same episodes.
You’re probably right that Siren Island is a reference to Themyscira, but I don’t think it’s meant to actually *be* Themyscira.

Cloning pink haired girls is most always a good idea (see Girls Bravo anime) unless they explode in a puff of pink smoke on contact.
