Epilogue – Pearl and Dr. Greg
Looks like Dr. Gregory’s memories (or lack thereof) have merged with Pearl’s. I hope those “two” get a new chance at a happy life.

It looks like the cocoon couldn’t fix Greg’s physical aging.
Because she looks like a much older version of Pearl now…
How long were they in that cocoon anyway?
It might have restored a few years of age. Still, I’m not sure how to think about this.
I dunno, she does seem more mature than Pearl, that for sure, but in regards what a siren seem to see as old, and in CD’s style, she still looks pretty young, at least younger than Mary.
If anything she seems to have a very strong hangover.
Physical aging wasn’t the problem. I’m not sure if it’s the fact that Dr. Gregory was male, senile, or human, but the cocooning seems to have made the sum far weaker than its parts. Wonder what this means for Tammy (the other unique cocoon manifestation)? And actually, will this affect Crystal somehow? We did see that clones can share a psychic link with their originals, and I think Crystal might have had one with Pearl. Curiouser and curiouser . . .
That weakness maybe be temporary, due to lack of using muscles for awhile combines with something similar to post-regeneration trauma ala Doctor Who. In both cases with some work, it will pass.
@Ran-san: The weakness might be temporary but I don’t think she will ever make sense from her memories. With luck, she won’t have problem forming new ones.
She could just be hungry. Don’t Siren’s need to feed on men?
A lot of thinks here, first it seems that Dr Gregory is for the most part the predominant half, at least on the mind side (Pearl clearly took the body side)even without his memories.
My question is, is she a full siren or half human? at least is not using her siren voice right now, but in the state she seems to be right now, unless Pearl experience is working here, is weird she has such control over her powers. But thinking this well, if she has indeed her powers, it’s better for her to figure how to use them soon or she only will only get to be back to Dr Gregory’s room.
Also, not sure if it’s better for her to look for a new live like Crystal among normal humans or go back to island, in any case, again, if she has her powers it’s only natural to think that more sirens will come looking for her later.
You’re A doctor…. But not THE DOCTOR. Interesting take on Regeneration.
Dr. Greg Pearl, perhaps Pearl Gregory. with just enough of each others memory and power to be a very good Doctor. Now if her Siren voice works she can get new License, documents and such and THEY’RE in business.
I’d say that Greg Pearl isn’t aged as much as he / she is drawn and haggard.
It’s actually safer to realize that after a proper time of rest and reorientation, Doc Greg’ll come back to measure up to his/her original abilities and acumen.
Sadly, though, I think it’ll be all for naught as he’s in a new generation and more advanced technologies, (based on how much time has elapsed with this portion of the epilogue).
Just my thoughts….
She will be better off leaving that place, it is clear that the staff doesn’t check up on the patients like they should. Just how long has that cocoon been hanging on the wall with the patient missing with none of them noticing anything odd?
I was thinking that as well. Did the staff thought that was some giant spider nest or were they not in charge of cleaning up?
Ok what the?
Nice “Steven Universe”-references, by the way. ^_^
She may be a bit dazed and confused at the moment, but I think she’ll go on to lead a productive life.
I suspect that the fact that Dr. Gregory was unresponsive prior to this has something to do with how the memories are not properly reconciled together.
