1198 : Ethan’s in More Trouble
Ethan, you need to learn when to SHUT. UP.
EDIT: I’m so sorry readers, I completely screwed up. This comic was supposed to be Friday’s comic, but I accidentally posted it on Wednesday. Which means that the comic that was supposed to come out Wednesday will now air on Friday, despite happening before this comic. I’m sorry about the confusion.
I’ll fix the page order next week, so that future readers won’t get confused.
I will say this much: when Morgan finds out what happened, ultimate mind blown.
She couldn’t have planned a better disaster than this, that’s for damn sure.
Well I feel more sorry for David, since Honey will be married to the Auction Guy while Bay will be forced to date David for 9 months…
Turning back into Dawn seems like a good escape plan for David at this point.
Plus Brad and Berry (I am still sure she is affected as well) still looking for his attention… yes, David should think about a change of looks for a couple days, or weeks, or moths… or years.
this happened on MARTIN. during his wedding ARC he an his Frenemy(The wife’s best friend) ended up Married Because She and the Wife Signed the Wrong Line on the License
Like I suggested in #1197, Ethan should mind switch David and Auction Guy. At least Honey will be marrying the right guy. Anybody remember that the only reason Bay hasn’t been deported to Canada is a fiancee visa to marry Auction Guy?
I have no idea how you get legally married in the real state of New York now, but the wedding is taking place in the Bayverse so the requirements can be anything CD wants them to be. Not that CD knows what the real regulations are; he’s admitted many times to being Canadian. However, I actually got married in California in 1979 and managed to get the license the morning of the ceremony, so I think it’s plausible for Bay and Auction Guy in Honey and David’s bodies to just get a license, which, minus the body trading, I believe was what Bay had in mind before Honey insisted there had to be a big wedding.
It wasn’t until we got the license that I found out my wife hadn’t been giving me her real name, BTW.
Clicking “prev” to check comments for Monday’s comic, I noticed there are two comics dated June 6th. Was that intentional?
Oops. Looks like we got Friday’s Comic early.
No, I screwed up. I’ve now moved the comic that was supposed to be today’s comic to Friday, since most people won’t have seen it. I added a mea culpa in the description.
it’s ok Robert. these things happen all the time. we still love the comic pages.
Seriously, Ethan, this ain’t right.
Stop chinwagging and get your thinking cap on!
I mean, I can’t really fault Ethan for saying all this. These issues will be a problem regardless of if he says anything, so they might as well get brought up now rather than causing further chaos later.
she be both mother before swap back and aunt afterwards to siblings. Will Honey or Bay be married if wedding goes on?
Isn’t Bay pregnant with Honey? Since Honey and little Honey are both from the future. Time travel can get a little confusing.
There have been hints that Matthew (Ethan’s brother) is Honey’s father, such as in comic 1030. This time, I think Auction Guy is most likely the father of the current unborn child, who is therefore Honey’s and Brady’s half-sibling. On the other hand, considering what Morgan did in comic 1173, the truth might turn out to be far weirder.
@Jessica – Brady and Honey were technically aborted when Brady was pulled through the time portal and landed on Bay’s belly, but she still exists because Brady still existed when she was deleted, and Honey was pulled back later in her life to the same time. Both of their timelines no longer exist, but they do because they were the causes of their timelines being erased (Brady by arriving, and Honey because she’s done things that wouldn’t have happened without her here). So, in short, time travel is a pain in the arse to try and figure out, but it makes for some great storylines.
Has it ever been stated that their timelines no longer actually exist?
I mean sure, they can no longer go back, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a version of Bay out there missing a daughter
@Paradox – according to the Q&A, Honey cannot go back to her timeline because she’s altered the future, causing the future as she knows it to no longer exist. I always assumed that worked the same way for Brady, too. Also, the time machine used to bring them to the past was destroyed by Berry at the end of Timey Wimey , and I presume Chris and Doug were too cheap to get the extended warranty on it, so that option’s out anyway. At least, that’s how I always thought it worked, though if C.D. or Robert could give a final answer at some point it would be greatly appreciated.
