I imagine telling “Red” Marks about either of them will be just as awkward and hard.
iirc, it hasn’t been made clear whether Bay actually knows the current location of their mother, though she might be thinking about mentioning that she had actually been raised by said mother, and clarifying that their father hadn’t actually kidnapped both of them.
It has been mentioned that Bay knows where her mother is. It was the reason that she tried to have HRC rebuild her back into a guy with the bit of Helix she gave them. Brad was supposed to visit her that weekend, but we don’t know if Brad went as her new self. IIRC we don’t know if his mother has ever been told about her new gender.
We know she probably hasn’t been considering Bay hasn’t kept in contact with his family since it happened, but I know, or I’m pretty sure that there’s a comic in which Bay’s mother is wondering where Brad, specifically, is. Not many people actually know; there’s Berry, Jo, Trav, Steve, Tom, Mr Turt and Shaura, I think, as well as anyone who was in the Men turned into Women support group, if that’s canon.
@SaylorA okay, I’d forgotten about that (I just checked, and it was in comic #965), but that was in a flashback from 5 years ago in-universe, a month after she became a woman, so her knowledge of their mother’s location could easily be out of date by now.
Facing Dear Old Dad, who knows damned well that one of the kids was a boy, might be … Interesting.
Actually… *does* he know that? He kidnapped Heather right after they were born because he hated his wife. I would assume that he had been separated from him for at least some time before that, and might not know the genders of his children.

And it does not appear that they were married, as she is called “Miss Smith” by the doctor. I would guess they simply had an affair, broke up, and he decided that he wanted their baby.

Honestly… I’d much prefer seeing the SS.org babes in sexy clothes, rather than sex scenes. But that’s just me.

Yup, Bay is currently unaware of her mother’s location. I’m guessing she’s been too embarrassed about the whole “turned into a woman” thing to put much effort into finding her. I doubt it’d be all that hard, though.
Going to the apartment and stationery store was while she had amnesia though, so that’s not definitive. afaik, it was never made clear whether her recovered memories include her mother’s latest location.
And yet, if she did know, it would seem odd for her not to react at all while walking past her mother in the airport, which she most definitively did.

The fact that the name of the shop was only revealed after the two of them walked past is a strong clue that Bay doesn’t realize how close she was to her mother.
Now, what I am hoping is that the current arc will lead to revelations, including to “Red,” who will propose hunting for Miss Smith…
and the result will be Bay, Heather, Berry, Honey and Brady all descending on the store en masse to introduce themselves and explain 🙂
I’m wondering how many more Bays will show up for the wedding. Since there are co-existing versions of Bay, Honey, and Teri, all the other Bays we saw in Timey Wimey are still out there. Heck, we’ve got two Bays just in the title page of this arc.
Bays mom could be excited to see her long lost daughter, disappointed Brad is now Bay but loves her anyway and is happy Bay found Red. She may even be happy to have Berry as another extension of the family. Perhaps a matrix to keep track of doubles and sex swapped versions would be in order.
I’m not sure what that Matrix would look like.
