Nah, this has happened before. Remember when Bay (or was it Honey?) accidentally created Crystal? The SS.org universe is literally a comic, so “creating life” is not really that hard.
I was under the impression Crystal is a clone of the original siren.
Is this new green hair one just a second clone or is she Toms dream girl?
Maybe she’s a clone of Honey, with Dawn’s helix overlaid on top? Honey did give Tom a blood sample for some as-yet-unknown purpose.
Oh I get it , they made a copy for the sirens to take back with them, thereby leaving the crew safe. The Dawn copy looks a little blank, but so did David/Dawn, when sirens last saw her. David was age regressed before to remove the siren gene, but became a short, very curvy. teenager growing up.
Tom, they could ask you the same question. 😀
Provided their confusion hasn’t reached the level of temporarily losing the ability to form words.
Additionally, the earmuffs imply that the Dawn-clone has the ability to speak with siren-voice, so I hope Tom has a spare set somewhere nearby for David before he becomes mesmerized.

Wait, why would Ethan need the special anti-siren-voice headphones? Between being female at the moment and having a target for the siren-kiss-induced obsession (which I imagine would trump the siren voice, though admittedly I’m just guessing there), I don’t see how she’d be affected.
David was affected when he was Dawn.

Ding ding ding! The kind of change that turned David into Dawn left him “male” as far as his helix (and siren control power) was concerned.
Ethan has undergone a similar change, so he may still be “male” as well.Mauve did make a good point about the Siren’s Kiss angle. I’m not sure how Siren Voice from another siren would interact with that.

Wait, what? I thought Ethan’s current change was helix-based, not from a body-swap machine with a suppressed siren in the mix, so it should be more like Tom’s change way back in the “Helices” chapter, and female-Tom was unaffected by siren voice.
Ah shoot, you’re right. I forgot that David became Dawn through the unique combination of being a male with the Siren Virus. So Ethan most likely won’t be affected by Dawn’s Siren Voice.
I can tell you what is going on. Techno-magic. Technology combined with magic or magical ability that creates hilarious situations for multi-dimensional by standers (such as our selves) to be entertained by the antics of people dealing with misunderstandings and coincidences created by fumbling with unwise self experimentation for a greater understanding of the sexes. Then again it could just be “I want to be a sexy girl for a few hours, what could possibly go wrong?” Did I miss anything?

Dawn seems kinda short, but maybe she’s just standing a lot further back in the elevator than Tom. I wonder, did someone just take the form of Dawn, or was she created like Crystal?

I’m guessing Dawn2.0 is probably another mute like Crystal is (sometimes–is she mute again or is she just careful not to talk?)
If Dawn isn’t mute, David will fall in love with himself and Honey-Ethan… Hmmm. Interesting. Is a Siren Voice powerful enough to overcome the pseudo-Honey personality overlay? We know Ethan is till in there up until now. Will Ethan find an entirely new way to make trouble (through no fault of his/her own, of course. Nope, none at all.
BTW, have we forgotten that Ethan has already slept with Dawn/David? Does Honey/Honey know about this yet? If not, will it come out soon?
And when is poor Tom going to get some real action?
I think it’s safe to assume that Dawn isn’t mute, considering that Tom is wearing those noise-canceling headphones that he previously used to avoid being mesmerized.
Sigh, have I mentioned how much I hate Tom in your comic? I really do – he’s a terrible, immoral monster that only does good things when forced to.

Ahhh, so someone else has seen that bit of foreshadowing that CD only gave to donators. I’ve been wondering about that for quite a while as well.
