Filler: Intern Intro
Hi guys, Robert here (aka coredumperror)! I’m pleased as punch to join CD on both SailorSun.org and JeaniebBottle.com! I look forward to working with him to make the best comics on the web (at least, I think so!).
Neko’s a bit of a taskmaster, but I think we’ll be friends in no time! Once I find a way to unlock this dang “intern ball”, that is…
EDIT: When I tried to fix the error pointed out by CrypticMirror, I somehow managed to post 2 copies of the fixed comic and a copy of the old version at the same time, and I can’t figure out how to remove the duplicates. Some intern I’m turning out to be…
EDIT2: Thankfully, CD knew how to fix it. Yay!
Ummm, Steve – if you’re in charge of spelling/grammar cleanup, may i call your attention to Panel 6?
Yeah, I made a mistake. And then in my attempts to fix it, something else got screwed up! Neko’s totally going to reprimand me for this…
If your going to call him steve your going to have to give him a square head. 😀
Hale lord Herobine.
Hello Robert,don’t worry about Neko,she is a bit of….neko.
Anyway,as a long time fan of both SailorSun.org and JeaniebBottle.com,I have to say:welecome to the big family.
Thanks!
So is the missing word in the 2nd last panel a deliberate gag then?
“….so he [can?] play with it…”
You have now been criticized for the comic, nothing can say “welcome and we accept you” better than that. 🙂
 F*%K… How the hell did I miss that? I was distracted by Neko’s sexy… Yeah! That’s it!
Fortunately, CD taught me how to use the site, so I can fix it. But
I have to go to work, so it’ll be later today.I’ve somehow managed to totally screw that up. Oh boy…But intern’s are supposed to make at least one hilarious error on their first day, so we love you all the more for it. 🙂
Don’t be so quick to get rid of that Intern Ball.
You will find it has many uses. First, as a weapon, second, as an exercise device, thirdly, as a deflector of others interest in you. But, mostly, as a weapon.
Learn to wield it and be mighty!
Why do I feel that we missed the part where Neko says: “I’m going to hug him, and pet him & call him Steve.”?
I give you a month before being TG’d
Hah, I give me less. Maybe I can finagle Neko into putting me into a sexy dress, though?
Are you kidding me? I’ll be amazed if he makes it two weeks.
I’ve come back and read this comic a full year and a half after becoming Neko’s intern, and I’m now reminded that I somehow still haven’t gotten TG’d.
That’s unexpected!
It’s going on five years now that I’ve been Neko’s intern, and STILL no TGing for me. I’m not sure what to think about that…
Welcome to the asylum Robert
This is AWESOME, new intern fixes minor grammar problem and makes large glaring mistake with posting the comic. I love this guy, i vote Steve for intern of the year. Seriously man, you couldn’t have faked a better intro if you tried.
Sadly, not all of us can be as perfect as you are Raven.
Not trying to insult the new intern, merely that i found the way his debut played out hilarious. Like hiring the 3 stooges to fix your house. I personally got a great laugh out of the whole thing and think it would have been a genius move had this actually all been staged.
The irony is quite fabulous, isn’t it?
Ah, c’mon that is every intern’s first day ever. In fact if you do intern anywhere and there isn’t a massive glaring mistake that causes widespread hilarity and panic, then you’ve done something super wrong. ;D
I’ll welcome you when I stop thinking this filler is just a ploy to avoid having Bay DO something.
Welcome.
Hi STEVE! 🙂
Hello Mr./Ms. Whovian!
I wish I could say “fellow Whovian”, but while I think I would probably like the show, I don’t watch TV. At all. Except Mythbusters.
Congrats Robert!
No, not on getting the job; on escaping your first comic appearance with your Y chromosome! XD
And by the way, isn’t Steve the narrator? Since we’ve never seen him, I guess we have to assume Robert looks like Steve. 😛
I like this idea very much. 🙂
So Robert are you going to go back into the archive or just keep with things current.
Sorry I missed this comment all those years ago. While I’d like to go back through the archive to fix everything, CD didn’t keep the original art files for most of the pages, so the only thing available is the low-res images that are actually posted to the site. Those would be hellish to edit, so I’m afraid it won’t be happening.
