Epilogue – Nine-ish Months Later…
Looks like things are coming along nicely for the both of them. Well, maybe not all that “nicely” for Trav…
Looks like things are coming along nicely for the both of them. Well, maybe not all that “nicely” for Trav…
Hey! so in the end she learn his name! shame we didn’t get to see her face.
Again, poor Trav, and lucky Berry.
The longer hair on Trav looks good.
And Bay finally gets to experience giving birth, since she didn’t get the chance with Honey…
Trav though probably won’t be to happy when it happens to her.
Okay, so Bay did learn AG’s name at some point, that’s good. And Ams automatically switched genders after giving birth (presumably to a litter of talking kittens who will never find out Ams is their real mother and Cleo’s actually their dad). The real question is, why didn’t Berry and Trav use that supercharged body swapper to change back after the wedding? And why did they swap in the first place, anyway? Or are those questions also going to be answered later?
Now that I think about it, why is Bay being so chummy with Trav? She only met him a few days before the wedding (as she remembers it, anyway), so is there a reason they’re buds now?
You might want to take a look at his tag, as it clearly states that Trav and Bay are old friends.
@SageM I think that @He Who Abides refers as to how Bay purge her Brad memories, even so, I think she still remembers enough of him, specially what they live together in the Homeward story, and everything that happen during the wedding arc.
With that said, what the hell happened with Berry and Trav at that wedding? one moment a love crazy Berry take David and presumible Trav by force alongside the swap machine, and the next they swap bodies without any trace of either David or the Swap Machine!
They swapped at the wedding to cancel the David Infatuation spell that Morgan cast on all the Bays. Why they didn’t just swap back, along with any other questions about mysterious stuff that happened at the wedding, is left up to the reader’s imagination.
I personally suspect that the body swap machine finally gave up the ghost after being abused so roundly throughout that day, and by the time they could get a replacement, “Berry” was too far along for any swap to be remotely safe.
Carlos makes a good point about Bay knowing Trav relatively well, due to their interactions during the Homeward chapter. In addition, it’s been 9 months: Bay has had time to develop her friendship with Trav through the mutual experience of pregnancy, if nothing else.
What I want to know is if anyone besides Heather has figured out Berry’s secret identity.
@Carlos & Robert – I’d figured the memories from Homeward ended up in Brad, since that’s who Bay was for most of that story. Then again, Tom was the one who did all that, so . . . yeah. It also slipped my mind that the brain-swap machine could have crapped out under the stress. And yes, Carlos, I was referring to the memory purge, thank you for remembering that too. Also, Robert, was it 100% established that Berry was hit by the love spell? It makes sense, but I’d also kinda figured Trav wanted to be in Bay’s wedding party, given their history pre-memory purge.
I wonder, does Berry feel bad about Trav giving birth to their child? This is at least her sixth child whose birth she’s missed (Brady, Honey, and Cody’s three kids from Timey Wimey), and I wonder if she feels bad that, for this one at least, someone is going through it for her.
I can’t think of a reason that Berry would have acted the way she did at the wedding if she hadn’t been hit by the love spell. And since we *know* Brad was hit, I think it’s pretty clear that Berry would have been hit, too.
Perhaps some new adventures await us even if it’s not with the same crew.
I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing what the next generation gets up to. ^_^
Jeeves? That’s surprising.
I didn’t think that name was in common usage anymore due to the association with butlerdom.
That’s exactly why he goes by “Red” with all his friends.
Does he have relatives with strong ties to England, perhaps?
No idea. Though England isn’t terribly well known for redheads, is it? That’s more of an Ireland thing.
So she’s gonna.. Ask Jeeves… for help?
… what do you mean no one is gonna get that mid 90s to early 2000s reference? What do you mean I’m practically a internet dinosaur? I slew the great demon Bonzi Buddy with my own two hands when it crept into my computer!
.. What do you mean no one knows who Bonzi Buddy was? *continues ranting about ‘what do you mean’s, slowly being panned out into the void*
Don’t worry, I got the reference. 🙂 In fact, I think someone mentioned Ask Jeeves on the name-reveal page, too.
I also remember the name Bonzi Buddy, but I don’t think I ever had to deal with it. Wasn’t it some Internet Explorer browser bar or something?
Oh god, remember the horror of trouble-shooting your grandma’s computer, only to discover that she has like 15 browser bars installed? Thank god that shit died away, along with IE’s popularity.
Bonzi Buddy was spyware disguised as a desktop toy with a voice synth. So it was quite enticing to youngin’s back in the day to install.
You’re not that old, yet. However, I AM> (^^)

guess Bay pregant with the daughter of the future that was at wedding
Nope, she’s pregnant with someone who’s all new. Honey and Brady, her daughters from the future, will never be born in this timeline, due to time-travel shaninigans back near the beginning of the story.
I was hoping that Bay still wouldn’t know AG’s name and, when she gave birth to their son, she would suggest they name him after his father. AG would agree and then say we can call him “Junior” to avoid confusion. Then Bay would not know the name of her husband OR her child.
Hah, that’s a pretty good one! But I think Bay has suffered enough, so I’m glad she got to learn her own husband’s name. Eventually… 🙂
It’s good, but what’s the feminine form of Jeeves?
Hmmm, I dunno. Jeanie? 😉
So, question: is Ams sharing custody of the litter of kittens with their mother, or is he being a typical tomcat and leaving them all to her?
Um, Ams is their mother. He was impregnated by Cleo when they were both gender-swapped, which is why he was female up to this point.
I think the kittens might disagree at this point, given that Ams is no longer the one providing the milk. ^^;
Cleo wasn’t pregnant, so she won’t be providing milk either.
Oof… I forgot Ams and Cleo were TG’d for the impregnation. ^^;
I hope the kittens were properly weened before Ams turned back.
I’d still like to know which parent is taking care of them.
OK, so will this baby be named Honey or Brady – or something else?
This baby is neither Honey nor Brady. It’s a whole new character. Bay was pregnant with Honey/Brady way back near the beginning of the story, but when Brady arrived in this timeline, she collided with Bay, and thus got too close to her future self. And in Timecop-related fashion, Bay suddenly wasn’t pregnant any more.
Due to this odd twist of fate, neither Honey nor Brady will be born in this timeline.
And the Bays of their original timelines will never know what happened to their babies…. 🙁
@Rock, Acording to some previous info, those Bay’s no longer exist, It seems that the way time travel works in this world is that any change to the past either merges or erase the future timeline, when Brady time travel to the past, she erased the timeline where she was born in a natural way, same with Honey who erased the timeline where she grow up whit Bay.
In the Timey Wimey story we see how this happen, with reality itself morphing around Bay/Berry until she finally travel to the past to stop the timeline from changing any further.
Time travel is so confusing. @_@
I am not sure whether this is better or not.
I really hope one of the epilogues will show us that the two ******* directors are in jail now…
Is funny how this work right? in one hand those guys give us Bay, Berry, Honey and Brady, so, thanks I guess? but in the other… yes! screew those guys!
They didn’t do any of that for us, they abused people for their own convenience and profit, and all firmly without their victim’s consent.
Oh, I get it, believe me, I mean, for me at least it’s “funny” cause I am glad that Honey and Brady exist, but EVERYTHING about their origin is so mess up.
I can get past the part of turning Brad into Bay cause that’s your standard douchery that one expect in an TG origin story, but the origins of Brady and Honey? not so much, glad to have them here in this timeline, but those two guys need some kind of punishment already.
I can confirm that those two do not show up in any currently-existing epilogues. Though they might show up in any that CD makes later, if that happens.
Well, fingers crossed! ^_^
Just realize they are living at the place Heather got for Bay, nice through back… though I wonder if now that Bay is in such a better position in live she would try to take Brady’s custody back.
She’s already got two kids of her own, now. I think she’ll be fine leaving Brady with her adopted mom.
I guess so, it’s just that looking for the page where Heather give this place to Bay I also came across page 763 and got all the feels.
Also, I get what you mean, but isn’t a little sad we still see Honey as a kid? Yet again, she came with the idea of tiara Teri, among other things.
@Robert – #744 also said that Heather was going to be managing a few buildings in town for her parents, so Bay and Brady can see each other pretty much whenever they want now anyway.
Maybe it’s different where you’re from, Carlos, but when referring to a person’s children, the phrase “their kids” is often used even if all their children are adults. So my use of that phrase to include Honey does not imply that I think of her as a child.
@Robert, ok, I got that but at the same time I didn’t, I knew of the use of the of the word kid, but I honestly though for a moment you were referring as to how, even in her tweenties, Honey tend to be as inocent and childish as an actual kid some times.
For all you embryos out there who have never been forcefed English Literature, Jeeves the gentleman’s gentleman and Wooster the clueless upper-class English twit are characters by P.G. Wodehouse. And they have given career-defining roles to a couple of more recent vintage English twits by the names of Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, who also portrayed twits of distinction in collaboration with Rowan Atkinson in the various incarnations of Blackadder.
And you owe me mounds of cookies for calling the Bay and Berry pregnancies right again and again and again and again and…
