Out of curiosity, does this event have anything to do with chapter four “Helices” https://sailorsun.org/?comic=04012007. I know that it is stated that Bay’s helices are messed up do to the illegal transformation gun, but, this seems to me more likely the cause. And if not i would have thought that any potential degradation would have already been manifesting itself and Tom here would be able to recognize it and fix it or at least reinforce the degrading helices. Though he may be new as he is an intern, Gregory states that he is gifted, so i don’t doubt that if there were any developing errors in Bay’s helices he would be able to identify them. Ultimately i’m not sure, but I find it more likely his blind tampering caused more problems than merely confusing Bay about sexual preference. I guess one final thing is this https://sailorsun.org/?comic=08182008. This is chapter 6 and Bay brings up that she wasn’t really falling for guys until after they rewrote her helices to fix the degradation. Don’t forget she was kinda having a thing with Shaura https://sailorsun.org/?comic=559-someone-is-freaking-out-a-little. The point being the current story is set one month after the transformation, so little should be altered here compared to anything in Timey Wimey. Especially since i don’t know when Bay started working with Turt, so i don’t even know if Shaura and Bay had met yet. Right, i think i’m going off track and i’m starting to confuse myself so i’m going to walk away now, have a good day.
…How does he still work there to this day? After a smeg up of this caliber, I’d think he’d be spending the rest of his life asking “Do you want fries with that?”
Tom was an outcast. His dream job was taken from him after a rookie mistake. But after the HRC was hacked, and people started shifting in ways nobody thought possible, he was called back in to the company to end what they started.
And of course there won’t be a back-up of Brad’s file. So when Tom realizes what he has done, he won’t remember what variables he has changed to set them back properly. He’ll probably then do a cover-up instead of admitting what he has done considering he was doing something other than what he was specifically told to be focusing on.
So, Tom is another reason Brad is messed up mentally. How can he not see Brad’s name at the top of the file?
… actually, with everything which happened, I’m surprised Brad is not THAT MUCH messed up.
Wonder if Tom ever looked at that file later and noticed that nothing had been changed, and wondered what was going on?
Well, if he’s trying to make Brad’s profile match it, he’d probably ignore it.
I wish I was in Dixie Land…
Wait a cotton picking minute, I thought “Crystal” is the Dixie?
Tom appears to have mistaken Brad’s profile for Dixie’s, which is why the settings are all wrong.
Hmmm. Which is why Bay winds up attracted to guys, after she stops denying that she is?
Hmmm, interesting question. I honestly don’t know.
Until Silent Shadow pointed it out, I actually didn’t even notice that the file that Tom’s looking at has “Brad S.” in the title, lol.
Tom was told to ‘focus on the patient’ and what does he do? Bloody heck Tom!
He is focusing on the patient, focusing on screwing up the patient.
Focusing on his job, not so much.
This is interesting, it’s not good to try to work on side projects at the same time you’re supposed to be working.

C-List Origins: Tom
Coming April XXXX
How was Tom not fired?
Am beginning to suspect that Brad changed himself back to a girl after Tom’s messing with his matrix when he comes out of the tube.
And of course there won’t be a back-up of Brad’s file. So when Tom realizes what he has done, he won’t remember what variables he has changed to set them back properly. …I believe this might be the case, especially considering his track record of being an a-hole.
