Oh my gosh, I just noticed that! I’ve known what Ethan was hiding from us (the viewers) for a while, but I never realized that David and Crystal can obviously see him in full in panel 3. I had been assuming that the water was too bubbly, but why else would they have those expressions if they couldn’t tell? And how else would Crystal know what to ask David?
