There is no bra under that top everything is laced together. Some jumping up and down and swinging side to side should dislodge it out the underside quite nicely. If not repeat.

That’s absolutely the BEST place to lose a resistor! Or, more importantly, the best place to go FIND a lost resistor.
At least they’re working with parts you can see. I’ve worked with resistors that could get lost under a fingernail, which isn’t sexy at all.

I’d wait for a bit more evidence, first.
I think this may be pent up overflow from a similar lengthy dialog on Exiern and a similar and un-discussed (as there are no comments) topic on EGS. I agree it is way too early to jump either direction conclusion-wise.
Not to mention a lot of discussion of both of them on the Misfile forum…
