Bay Smith is a main character. Once a guy, she was turned into a girl several years ago. She keeps this fact a secret, and only a handful of people know.
She's now a struggling actress whose roommate is actually her daughter from an alternate future timeline.
A teenage version of Dawn/David, with a little of Honey's genes mixed in, along with an imperfect copy of Crystal's siren gene. Her defective Siren powers are difficult to control, and affect both men and women.
Yikes. An illusion of cured fatigue can be very dangerous. Maybe not quite as bad as removing the ability to feel pain, but along the same lines, anyway.
Perhaps, but Trav’s reaction implies he’s not thinking about that, and won’t be prepared for the pending adrenaline crash (or some analogous condition, since what he has now probably isn’t exactly an adrenaline high).
It is more similar to the loss of ability to feel pain. Physical fatigue is your body trying to convince you not to overdo it and hurt yourself, mental fatigue is your brain really needing to take a break and sort things out. Chemical imbalances abound in both situations, though since those are internally controlled, poking the brain the right way might convince it to sort those out. Curious.
Wouldn’t be hard with any new person. “Hi I’d like you to meet my friend.” “Hi, I’m *insert name*, what’s your name?* It’s just more awkward the more you let it run, without actually saying that person’s name, as it is with Bay. Then again, he could just hang out at the gym, wait for AG to get through training someone, then go up to that person and say, “Man, your trainer was really something. What was his name?”
whoa. just, whoa.
*cough* Change ‘there voice’ to ‘their voice’ *cough*
Lol whoops.
“thier hair color” should be their hair color.
*grumble* damnit *grumble*
Used the dang spill chicken again eh? *snerk*

I would expect that it’s similar to being on an adrenaline high in the middle of a crisis.

No far worse – like leprosy or the side effects of diabetes, where you end up damaging yourself and not notice until it is far too late.
So, a Siren’s ability is limited to basic perception alteration, or mind control. Good to know.
His pain was all in his head he only did 20 push ups.
I think Trav has just realized that Dawn could get Bay’s boyfriend to tell them his name. But, we all know it will not be that easy.

Gee, do you think maybe the Siren Queen might have a problem with Dawnie being able to control all her subjects?
Only until Dawnie commands her not to have a problem with it.
Not for long
