1219 : Ever Wonder Where Steve Went?
Oh hey, it looks like Steve survived his mob troubles. That’s great!
We’re gettin’ real close to the end here, folks… 🙂

So Steve is the justice of the peace?
How many chapters and years has it been since we last heard from him?
Its definitely a nice surprise and a great way to lead to the end of the comic. ^^
According to the Character listing for Steve, he was last seen in a non-filler back in 2011.
Can’t believe that this comic is coming to an end. Going to miss the wacky adventures of Bay, Honey, and friends. If anything, I hope the series ends with the most over the top way possible. Knowing this series. It might or might not.
Thank you CD Rudd for a fun time with the comic. Hope to see WolfPac here soon.
Due to the hiatus that CD is taking right after SS.org ends (which will primarily be affecting I Dream of a Jeanie Bottle), WolfPac won’t be starting until some time next year.
We’ll be sure to let you guys know, through the mailing list that you can sign up for in the sidebar, when it starts.
Yay! It’s Steve!
Wait, he was “ordained”, so does that mean he’s actually a minister, not just a justice of the peace?
If that’s what “ordained” means, I guess so? I don’t know anything about religion.
Yes, he would technically be a minister, but he’s probably affiliated with the Honky Tonk Cathedral or the Church of the Flaming Sword Las Vegas or some other nonsensical thing like that. Bonus points if you know from whence I pulled the name “Church of the Flaming Sword Las Vegas” without Googling it.
Before I forget, is that Neko in the background? And if so, why isn’t she tagged? (Never mind, she did before I got this up).
Edit – wow, does Steve make it look like the Lord himself is officiating for Bay and AG here. Cool.
Yeah, various filler characters have showed up in the crowd before. I’m pretty sure Katy and I were having a conversation in the background a few pages ago.
Amusingly enough, CD was kindof in a rush when he drew this version of the crowd. While you can’t see on this particular page, Neko’s actually in both halves of the crowd. 🙂
Sad that this comic is coming to an end, but I am looking forward to what comes next.
This part of Africa sure is humid and hot.
YES! I TOTALLY CALLED IT!
Heh. The Reverend Steve.
Ho boy, the blonde guy in the audience (I believe he is a recurrent cameo from another comic), his smile! he surely seems to be enjoying the view of Bay’s wedding dress! I can only imagine how big the smile of comic Robert may be.
Yeah, I think that blonde dude is from Heroes of Crash. But I’m not positive.
Damn I’m going to miss SS.org when this is over, I’ve been following this Webcomic since Middle School. I am however overjoyed that Bay’s story is getting a proper ending, unlike so many other web comics.
Also I would definitely buy a physical copy of SS.org if you guys sold them.
I’m glad to hear that you’re interested in a physical book! We’ve thought about doing that, but it would be a pretty difficult thing to do. Mostly because high resolution versions of the early pages just don’t exist any more, so CD would have to redraw a significant chunk of the comic for the physical printing.
If enough people expressed an interest, it would be feasible. But we held a poll a while back, and got a very tepid response. So I wouldn’t count on it… 🙁
I know about the poll. I was one of the guys that said “Yeah, why do you even hav to ask this? Of course I’d buy a copy!”
If no a copy then do you think there would be a easy to download file of the entire comic?
Now I wonder which of the girls will catch the bouquet when Bay throws it over her shoulder. The girl who catches it is supposed to be the next one to get married.
