The only problem with her logic is that, in theory, just with those facts Berry could also be a future version of Heather, but fuck it, besides the fact that we already know she is right, by this point Heather must know that with the kind of live Bay has, if someone is going to have a future version of herself living in the present, it has to be Bay.
I’d like to point out that she never says Berry is Bay, just that Berry is from an alternate future. Yes, she admits to thinking that Berry was a clone of Bay at first, but that might have more to do with her never having been in a situation where she would end up being cloned (as far as we, and possibly she, know). And with her (Berry) being from an alternate timeline, Heather might have assumed that, even if Berry was a future version of her (Heather), Berry might be from a timeline where she met her biological mother and had a relationship with her at some point.
Or maybe I’m reading too much into this situation, but I need something to do until Heather has a breakdown and tearfully tells Mary who she and Bay really are.
Also consider that Berry is Trav’s girlfriend. And Trav is Bay’s oldest friend. Heather doesn’t know him from Adam, so why would a future version of Heather hook up with him?
@Robert – true. Guess I forgot that bit there. Say, since you’re here, I’ve been meaning to ask, why are all of the alternate-timeline people blond? Conspiracy or coincidence?
The cause of Berry’s change to blonde hair is specifically given in the Timey Whimey chapter. The other two time-travelers (Honey and Brady) are natural blondes.
@Robert – but why did CD choose to make them all blond? I’m not critiquing, just curious, and am asking you because I figured you might know, plus CD seems to be busy preparing story comics to help is stave off withdrawal while he is, unfortunately, away in the near future.
How would she know that? again, she was looking for the mother of two twin SISTERS kidnapped at birth, for years that search did not results, but just a couple of days after finding out that she actually was looking for the mother of a boy and a girl, whose only the girl was kidnaped, she immediately found Mary.
alterntive futures huh. if time travel gets involved with could have an army of twins showing up at the wedding from different time lines or paraleell universe.
Good idea, but it seems if anyone is removed from their timeline that line ceases to exist. Essentially time travelers are committing mass murder every time they go back in time. Well that’s one theory.
Mass murder is nothing compared to total world destruction and the complete genocide of every race living there. Personally, I’m glad it’s just a theory, thank you.
And everytime they go back in time it means that all the things that died between that time and when they arrived in the past have been given new life. Just depends on how you look at it.
Yes, and because Auction Guy was drained by Dawn/David, that new life is going to be a siren. Whoops! Well, at least Berry’s baby has a chance of being “normal”.

she knew all that, and yet she didn’t know her real name was Claire.
How would she know that? again, she was looking for the mother of two twin SISTERS kidnapped at birth, for years that search did not results, but just a couple of days after finding out that she actually was looking for the mother of a boy and a girl, whose only the girl was kidnaped, she immediately found Mary.
Berry’s looking a little green in the last panel. Mary may end up with three daughters and four grand kids.
Pretty likely, yeah, though the comment about the age lines probably didn’t make her happy, either. ^_^
Yes, Berry is still in her early 30s, IIRC, which is a bit young for being told by an adult that you are wrinkly.
And the “Conan Edogawa” prize for sleuth of the year goes to….Heather!
I kinda love Heather. 😀 She is such an awesome character!
Yeah, I really like her, too. She’s a really great sister.
For someone who’s only recently found out how nuts her world is she’s getting up to full steam quickly.

I think I may have found the occasion where Bay and her still nameless fiancé created a new life together: https://sailorsun.org/?comic=783-its-hard-to-feel-sorry-for-him

“Oh, sure, that explains it. Why didn’t I figure that out?”
