…well… that was anticlimactic.
Well, it´s seems it worked without side effects… so far, kind of surprised that Honey didn´t find herself in Ethan´s body again.
But in what way, shape or form this was safer for Bay and the fetus?
Sad to say, I got the impression from the last few pages that both Bay and Honey were putting higher priority on getting back to their correct bodies than on safety.

There are two “have”‘s in the first panel.
Bay and Honey were getting pretty aggro in #1198, so I’m just assuming the lad developed a wee bit of a nervous stutter from that.
Ah poop, that’s completely on me. I totally rewrote the line to do a few different fixes, and managed to introduce a typo of my own!
Gee, a previous swap transferred the siren virus to David. Bay’s baby is a siren, so she’ll have the siren virus, too. Could Bay just have infected Honey?
I will be counting down the seconds Ethan has left of life after Honey and Bay find out what happened to their hair (all spiky and burn ends). I will hope that they stop after awhile, due to the luck of their dresses also not being burnt.
What are their dresses woven from, anyway? Perhaps fiberglass or asbestos? Those are both notably frireproof…
It’s the Rule of Funny; it wouldn’t have been funny enough for them to come through the process with their dresses reduced to scorched rags that barely preserve modesty, so it didn’t happen. Now, there being a delayed effect, with Bay’s dress disintegrating while she’s at the altar in front of everyone… that would be much funnier, so it’s much more likely to happen.
I don’t think static electricity, which is known to cause major hair frizz like this, is known for setting clothing on fire…

Of course, no one said Brad wasn’t gay in the first place. We’re assuming, but honestly, I don’t think Bay/Brad’s sexual preference prior to the switch ever came up. We KNOW that Bay’s weakness for men with muscles is the result of Tom’s tampering with her helix, but that’s a TYPE. We honestly don’t know much about Brad prior to that.
This may be a late reply, but there have been strong (albeit rare) indications that Brad was originally straight. In comic 412 (from 12/21/2009), Bay was very upset when she realized she had enjoyed kissing Auction Guy. Also, in comic 455 (from 5/5/2010), while she had amnesia and thought she was a guy swapped into a girl’s body, she got upset about dreaming that she kissed a guy.

I notice Wednesday and Friday’s comics were apparently skipped. I follow IDoJB as well, so I was able to figure out why, but perhaps there should be a mention of what’s going on here as well, in case there are readers who follow this comic but not the other.
Yeah, I keep meaning to do that, but I keep getting distracted and forgotten. I’ll put up a reminder now, but I don’t even know if CD plans to have an SS.org for Monday, so it might be kinda pointless.
