Bay Smith is a main character. Once a guy, she was turned into a girl several years ago. She keeps this fact a secret, and only a handful of people know.
She's now a struggling actress whose roommate is actually her daughter from an alternate future timeline.
How is having sex with your girlfriend “immoral”, though? The wikipedia article you mention says that “rake” is usually used to describe a womanizer, which neither of these two are.
Ai_vin is just pointing out that there is a “garden tool” term that applies to males of sexually loose morals, above and beyond the one applying to females that comes to mind from the page title and rhymes with “bro”.
According to some (primarily religious) individuals, myself included, it is considered immoral to have sex with anyone except your wife. Emphasis on wife instead of girlfriend.
To be honest, I’ve never used Uber. Uber doesn’t service where I live.
RECENTLY though I noticed a pattern with a relation of mine. She’s a realtor. Whenever the conversation about purchasing land or a house or anything in her business comes up. She’s avidly on the side of, “Get a professional” aka realtor. Even if it’s a buddy-buddy deal for empty land.
I’m not saying she’s wrong. She usually makes a big deal about using professional services for everything. But I noticed every time she goes to NYC or any place that has Uber, she makes a production about using Uber instead of the local certified Taxi service. Which to me is the exact opposite of what she preaches.
As I wanted a reason rush the girls out of the apartment (and to the party), and my recent revolution. The Uber line made it into the comic.
I just realized something that could make things “interesting”. Berry is a time traveling alternate of Bay so it stands to reason that somewhere out there is an alternate of Heather, as if “Triplets” weren’t ‘bad’ enough.
Well, Berry travelled from an alternate future to Bay’s past. And she stayed. Same as Honey, Ams, and Brady. So unless Heather travelled in time too, I see a hole in your “interesting”
Unlikely. The reason Berry exists at all is because of a very Bay-centric thing that happened in Berry’s subjective past (in Chapter 9). The only one who went back in time from that affair was Bay, herself, who then decided to start going by the name Berry.
The Bay’s that Berry remembered all had pasts before Berry. Basically it seems that Berry’s consciousness took over their bodies. I’m hoping that they returned they recovered their original personalities and memories, particularly the one where Bay had three young kids, including the other Berry. Why Berry remained blonde and separate from Bay in this timeline is yet another unsolved mystery. Maybe something to do with wrecking the time portal.
In fact, I’m not even sure if they do background checks, I mean, they SAY they do, but with all the controversy they are going through, I’m not entirely sure they actually do
I drove for Uber for a year before I became a truck driver and technically I still work for them. It took me a full month before my background check was completed. Not only that but in order to drive I have to re-upload my insurance cards every 6 months. You can’t just “Steal a phone” and start working for them.
at least he helped David clear the air between Bay/Berry.
I imagine that dudes don’t bother to mince their words with each other mutually. My observations of them anyways.
FYI – a man habituated to immoral conduct is a “rake.”

You, person of unspecified yet undoubtedly awesome gender, took the words right out of my mouth. I salute you for your screwy mind!

Or a more polite way of saying such would be “You’re a lucky man!”
I guess, despite David’s seemingly maturity when Honey is around, he still is a college jock.
Does CD have something against Uber?

And you just went full college dude – never go full college dude…
Guess some guys just don’t know the meaning of class or tact.
-looks at Berry, Honey and Bays outfits- some girls too lol

Gee, three beautiful young women getting into a car driven by someone with a phone app that might be on a stolen phone. What could go wrong?
Did I mention I used to drive a cab? Had to get fingerprinted to get my permit. I’m guessing Uber doesn’t do that.
Uber doesn’t do that, no

In defense of David, he didn’t do anything naughty with Ethan when he thought Ethan was Honey.
Something else to consider: How do we know all of the Bays we visited in Timey Wimey had originally been Brads?
Teen probably should come before girlfriend in that 5th panel.
