I think of it like this. Crystal may not be homosexual or bisexual, but rather “Ethansexual”. She’s attracted to Ethan whether he’s a boy or a girl.
that’s an old reference to El Goonish Shive, where Grace, Tedd’s girlfriend, is described as being Teddsexual for the same reason.
Whether Crystal is “Ethansexual” or not, by the look on her face in panel 4 she definitely prefers him like this.
@dana – I wouldn’t say prefers. I think it’s mostly her mischievous or playful side coming to the fore.
@Ran-san – Female-Ethan really seems to bring Crystal’s playful side to the fore.
While I do agree that Crystal is attracted to Ethan regardless of his current sex, I don’t think comparing it to Grace of EGS is entirely accurate
Grace is ONLY attracted to Tedd, while Crystal has flirted with David before
