Bay Smith is a main character. Once a guy, she was turned into a girl several years ago. She keeps this fact a secret, and only a handful of people know.
She's now a struggling actress whose roommate is actually her daughter from an alternate future timeline.
There is a way out of this. “Dad” may have heard the doctor say one of the babies was a boy but he was trying to escape the hospital at the time. Bay only has to remind him of that, and suggest the doctor made a slip of the tongue and had to correct himself later.
Trying to figure out how this is gonna go – is he gonna call her an imposter, or ask when “he” got a sex change. (I’m assuming both of them look similar to their mother)
Enjoying the fact that Bay doesn’t ever have to look forward to looking like her father. But I still feel that he’s got some sort of scheme going that is going to make Bay very uncomfortable.
From what little we do know of the guy he’s a duplicitous jerk with a tendency to get big revenge on people for small things.
Um… where did his eyebrows go? Checking the “Heather” tags (since the father hasn’t been given a name yet or tags added to the strips), he had eyebrows in the previous two strips he showed up in, but now he doesn’t, making it hard to read his expression.
Come to think of it, I’m also a bit curious about that scar on his face – in the “babynapping” flashback, he had stitches there, but I don’t think the circumstances of him getting injured there were ever explained.

Yes, Mr. Smith (assuming that is his name if he was married to Bay’s mom) did not actually see with his own eyes that the other baby was male.
But he heard the other baby was a boy as he left the delivery room, and remarked on it before he fled.
He could have done research into Bay’s existence before he was female. Those records do exist. Nerveless this is not starting well.
Given that he fled and didn’t look back, he might conclude that there was a THIRD baby born with the other two.

Also looking at that first appearance comic, there actually is “The Dad” tag.

I’m tempted to make a political joke here.

The eyebrows appear to be an art error. He has them on all the other pages. I’ll see about fixing that.
Why do I get the feeling that this is NOT Bay’s father, but someone who is using Heather to try to escape from prison?
