Honestly, I got more of a feeling that the hospital is kicking her out because they know they won’t be getting any money for this. If they wanted to get a huge payoff from her by garnishing her wages or something, they’d have made her stay longer and charged her thousands of dollars a day for a crappy bed and a bunch of unnecessary tests.
I don’t think it is that. I think the hospital is working with the… helix place thing that I’ve forgotten the name of… and now her speech is either normal, or non-existent. Either way, it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve meddled with her personal life and she’ll be lucky if they haven’t blanked her again.
On that note, btw, she previously had Honey’s mind, yeah? So Crystal has her basic instinct, which could mean that her attraction to Ethan could be more of a family-orientated attraction confused for true attraction, which from one angle can be considered disturbing. Keeping in mind however, that she’s had her memory erased and is inside a different body, it’s only the core instincts that she retains from Honey and is by all means her own human being.
I could go on for days cross-examining Crystal. She’s by far the most intriguing cast member.
a Canadian ski jumper had a head injury training before the winter olympics a few years back. She died in the states her family was sent the bill of 250000 $. If i get hurt down there i want to be put on a plane back to Canada. A charter flight would be cheaper than America hospitals.
Yeah, it’s pretty fucking retarded down here. We spend more money per capita on health care than any other developed country (by like 50%!), but get much lower quality of care than all of those other countries. The whole system is wasting billions of dollars a year, and it pisses me the hell off.
I’m not sure you’re technically correct that the quality is bad, but it is expensive and inefficient. And the recent laws have only made the whole thing worse rather than better.
Poor Crystal.
Woot capitalism wins again. Now crystal can work for the next 20 years to pay that bill.

Agree, the longer the patient stay in,the bigger bill the hospital can charge.

Access to quality is based on money. If you have the money the Doctors in the USA can give you the best in the world.
