Bay Smith is a main character. Once a guy, she was turned into a girl several years ago. She keeps this fact a secret, and only a handful of people know.
She's now a struggling actress whose roommate is actually her daughter from an alternate future timeline.
And I would think Heather could at least sue for misrepresentation, or demand compensation, even if she signed a release. I kinda doubt she did though, since she was dating the guy. It was probably more like, “Come on, honey, this will help me improve my skills, and no one else will see them, I promise!”
If she was at the point where she was letting him take nudes, she prolly trusted him and he could have slipped the release form by her – “You need to sign this so that I can show them to the professor in my class…”
And i would just about guarantee that for what sounds like this universe’s equivalent of Playboy or Penthouse, they wanted a release before they published. You don’t stay in that business by opening yourself up to THAT kind of suit.

And, of course, it’s a matter of public record that Bay has changed her name at least once, so even if the release was in a different name, they might accept it.

Of course, i’m sorta talking about what we laughingly call the “Real World”…
Bay, you don’t call someone a religious nut to their face. You just say they are deeply attached to their faith, and everyone except the nut knows what you mean. You save the nut part for when you are at a bar later. Actually, in bay’s case better to avoid the bar later. It hasn’t worked for her in the past.
That’s not really fair. I’m all for mocking the religious, but calling them too stupid or ignorant to understand why they’re being mocked is not the right way to go about it.
I’m not saying she’s stupid (Although I have met far too many religious nuts who are), no the real problem is religious nuts “see” the world differently. To someone like me evidence is the strongest guide to truth, for them faith is. The statement “I believe the Bible is true because the Bible says it is true” may make perfect sense to a believer—it is a faith-based statement—but in a logical argument it would be considered circular reasoning. The claim uses its claim to prove its claim.
Well, somebody has an excellent case for a lawsuit here! I’m just not sure if it’s Bay, Heather, or both.
Whaddaya know – i was wrong.
Actually, if he got her to sign a model release, no lawsuit.
Bay can absolutely sue for false use of her name. Defamation and all that.

There’s that about the name.

I mean that in a good way?

Oh Heather, Heather, Heather. If you have to ask that question, you won’t understand the answer.

Good job changing the subject there, Bay! She never even noticed it.
