Well this is going to make things really awkward once bay arrives…. that is if it doesn’t end up killing him.
It was established a few pages back that this power does not kill. We, the reader, don’t yet know what it actually *does*, though.
“Awkward”, as we now know, is not the word for what happens when Bay shows up.
OTOH, Bay does end up more convinced than she was before that being a girl (and having a hunky fiancé) has its good points.
I am guessing those guys that have been seduced either 1) become violent, or 2) obsessed with the siren that used magic on him.
I thinking a slave/master mind link that came into effect as a siren defense reflex.
Guessing by the sudden increase of eyelash size on him right there I’m guessing nothing good is going to come of this
My guess is Sirens can create minions, like a vampire creating lesser vampires(who tend to be loyal to their sire). My guess is it also Includes a little something something….wink wink, nudge nudge…..’Ka-Girl’
I bet Sirens consume mail essence. If we are made of balanced yin & yang, losing the male yang leaves just the yin. Or in other words, we have a new red headed female cast member!
I think Xellos might be right. Sirens seduce young men with their voices then suck out their male essences leaving them as young women.. if it was just about minions then they’d have more men in their “all female” society.

Did you notice that he was taller in the first panel we see him and in the last he is the same size as our new siren. So, I will go with the sucking out of male essence, making the former male female or close to it.
Nah, David is just standing up straighter in the last two panels. Plus, all this Ka-girl’ing speculation doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. If a seduction turned the victim into a woman, the Siren would lose their power of him/her!
Finally someone who is not all about the TG.
I understand your point but my opinion is that either way the siren will have lost control over the seduced i. e. “Living dangerously… Dangerously, not stupidly”.
