Okay – being told that the girl you’re interviewing is the one you son got beaten up over could be a good thing … or a bad thing … for the girl in question’s chance of getting the job.
How will she get any job if she doesn’t speak?
But… I thought it was only men who were affected by her siren voice? Why can’t she speak to women?
She avoids speaking aloud to Honey, in the few comics I remember them interacting. So I imagine that her siren effect is universal.
…or, perhaps, since she knows someone else could overhear.
Actually, i think it´s psychosomatic.
Her body can speak just fine, her mind can´t.
As evidenced during the body swap.
Why didn´t anyone realise that?
She is simply unable to speak. She is mute. Talking to men or women doesn´t factor into it. She can´t speak. Not a peep.
She can speak. her voice just bewitches men so she doesn’t talk. there was a whole arch about it.
If that was the only reason, she would have talked during the body swap arc. I think its both. She became a mute to control her “power”.

Didn’t she also rescue her would be rescuer from additional damage toward the end of the fight? That should help her cause.

Maybe Matthew will also tell his mom that she helped Matthew survive that beating, this establishing her “good person” reputation with the mother, thus securing the job.
Why’d I take so long to notice that Crystal bears a resemblance to a humanized Fluttershy? Similar hairstyle and color, same eye color, and she often looks worried or shy.
