Bay Smith is a main character. Once a guy, she was turned into a girl several years ago. She keeps this fact a secret, and only a handful of people know.
She's now a struggling actress whose roommate is actually her daughter from an alternate future timeline.
I do read El Goonish Shive. Ellen technically isn’t a clone of elliot though, he is a separated aspect of himself that eventually gained a true state of being.
Brad on the other hand has only been around since the end of the events at the HRC, so their hasn’t been as much time to explore their connection and relationship dynamics together.
And its especially true when you consider the comic is almost officially over, so at this point its all a guess really until CD bothers to explain it….
Triplets or quadruplets, depending on whether Berry counts or not. At least he didn’t have to grow up with multiple sisters his age and older. I speak from experience here, it’s not fun. Though I did meet my long-time girlfriend as a result, so not all bad.
I would discount Berry from that, since she’s 5 years older than Bay, Brad, and Heather. Which, comes to think of it, makes her an “Identical Older Sister”. lol
Is that a reference to Jaune from RWBY? You know the character with Seven sisters. Most of whom have been confirmed as being older then him by word of god.
From the way Bay has both hands on her belly in the last panel, I think you can guess why Bay thinks Brad is lucky to have split off in time to avoid something he never thought he might be doing.
The good news about labour is that it releases a lot endorphins near the end so you forget how much the prior bit hurt or that you accidentally pooed in front of your midwife.
I guess a truly unique form of identical twins, or possibly something more complicated altogether?
Yes he is a clone, but the comparison between the two is hard to describe…
“truly unique”? I’m guessing you don’t read El Goonish Shive then. Their relationship is remarkably similar to Elliot and Ellen from that webcomic.

I also read El Goonish Shive, which is why I know that the Demonic Duck made a cameo appearance in Sailor Sun.

That, and the whole musical chairs session between Bay and Honey. ^_^
Brother/sister is probably best.
And… it’s nice of Brad to compliment Bay. ^_^
I know, right? Panel 3 made me smile.
hope she not having second thoughts about the wedding with the whole YOUR LUCKY TO GET OUT WHEN YOU DID line.
Pretty sure Bay is holding her belly because she’s PREGNANT, Paul, and not exactly looking forward to labor.

More likely she is complaining about the corset she is weating
Clone with a mental divergence is a pretty good way to describe Brad. Fortunately it’s not a complete mental copy as seen in the movie The Sixth Day.
