Bay Smith is a main character. Once a guy, she was turned into a girl several years ago. She keeps this fact a secret, and only a handful of people know.
She's now a struggling actress whose roommate is actually her daughter from an alternate future timeline.
If it’s like roughly 99.9999999999999999999-and-so-on% of doorknobs I’ve encountered in my life, someone on the other side can just unlock it with whatever is on the non-key side of the knob that unlocks it, though.
Now, that’s the curious thing. If this is a storeroom of some kind, the keyhole should be on the _outside_, away from their side of the door, preventing other people from getting in… and having an easy twist unlock on their side
It also seems to be about 50/50 whether the _inside_ knob will still open the door even if the lock is set. Unless there’s a deadbolt that Bay locked.
But if it’s a standard knob lock, it could be an indicator of how much Bay’s thinking has been compromised. And leading to more humor — David realizing that Bay locked the wrong side of the door, and plunging out the door into the group of wedding attendees, possibly disheveled from Bay trying to pull his shirt off, and yelling something like “Keep her away from me!”
Let me review his other options:
1. Break down the door – I’m not sure he’s strong enough for that, especially considering it opens into the room.
2. Go out a window – the only visible window is past Bay, so that’s risky.
3. Hope someone else shows up. I think Alex is nearby and might be able to break the door one way or another. Someone might have another key or be able to pick the lock.
Or maybe not. Remember, Brad is attracted to David, so gender may not matter at all. Plus, Dawn is a Siren, and I’m sure they don’t really need to use their magical voices to attract most men.
I don’t think Brad or Bay know that David and Dawn are the same person, though. And it’s possible that the spell only works for a visible David, as Morgan used a picture instead of genetic material, ie hair or blood.
This won’t last too long, since I am guessing one of the other characters will probably make an appearance to bring Bay to the ceremony….
Though I could be totally wrong on this.
You’d think so, but Bay did lock the door…

Yes–usually the only kind of doors that require a key to exit from are the sort that are meant to confine people or animals against their will.

Well, Bay has totally lost it. Will someone verbally or physically intervene in this mess?
ohcrap o_o
Unhygienic!
I can see the sign posted on the road ahead. It reads:
STOP
4-WAY

Any other options I’ve missed?
4. Have sex with your girlfriend’s apparently very willing mom.
You didn’t say to limit options to the *good* ideas. š
Well, when David was Dawn, she did have a threesome with Crystal and Ethan…
Damn it Takei!
A King Kai Abridged quote?
I approve.
Thanks. Iām glad someone gets the reference.
If Ethen turns David into Dawn will that break Morgan’s spell and let the wedding go on.
