Pink Haired Siren from Siren Island. Pearl is the only siren who's been exposed as a siren while on the mainland. A scientist (whom she has feelings for) obtained a sample of her blood. Crystal is a copy of Pearl with slightly corrupted Siren genes.
Commanding them to get lost or even to do something embarrassing is one thing, but a jump like that is likely to be fatal, and I don’t really think that Pearl is the type to order men to suicide for her own amusement.
If this happening in the same town as Bay & Co., yes. She delibrately said THE London Bridge. Which is in London…England…The United Kingdom. There’s a large body of water called The Atlantic Ocean between them. Whether they go by boat, plane or try to swim across, that compulsion will wear off well before they reach their destination. Probably, they’ll come around in mid-flight wondering why they spent all their cash on transatlantic plane tickets.
And even if if they did make it to London, I think I recall hearing that the London Police keep foot patrols on the bridge to prevent jumpers. So more than likely they’d come to in the Nick in Metro.
A quick google search of Pearl’s destination (It’s a real place) and the fact that it’s only a “couple of clicks from here” shows that she is IN London
Though now I’m curious as to why she’s going to a nursing home, my guess would be the scientist she fell in love with, but given how old he looked, I’m not sure if he would need to be in a nursing home (Although I’m not sure what year this story is taking place, early on Bay said it was 2006, and I doubt more then a few months would have passed, but this is a webcomic, and it was early enough that Rudd probably hadn’t figured out where he was going with the story yet)
The London Bridge’s average clearance is 8.9 m. Add a extra 5-10 meters for the super structure, which brings the jump to 14-19m, which is totally survival. (you might be thinking of the London Tower bridge (Which is also survivable depending where you jump from). The current might not be… But how much is Pearl suppose to know about the River Thames. She lives on a island full of busty neon hair’d women.
That’s the “New” London Bridge, as opposed to the “Modern” London Bridge. Some rich guy bought it from the city of London and had it shipped there in the ’70s.
The fact is, not many people know about it idly. So odds are, they don’t. Also considering the fact she said THE London Bridge and not the NEW London Bridge….*shrug*.
Is this still in the United States? If so, it’s relatively unlikely someone would use the term “clicks” or “klicks”, unless they were a big gaming nerd that was used to a game that used kilometers. Otherwise they’d be saying “miles”.
Ya think she snuck in the cargo hold all the way to America? Maybe the Clickes thing could be a clue to where she is… maybe….
Also I’m pretty sure most countries use Clickes/Klicks, (including Canada). The US military uses it too for certain things. Not everything happens in America
Oh, I pretty much forgot where… well where any of the Sirens were…
I’m just gonna blame Ran-san, since I assume most of these other people know what’s going on more than me and he seemed to think it was still in the U.S. too. XD
The city of London sold the London Bridge to an American millionaire. He had it relocated to Arizona. Those two guys are going to have a rather long road trip.
So Pearl is in London, England–unless she’s in Lake Havasu city in Arizona. Sightseeing? The modern London Bridge is pretty much just a bridge and not the best-looking one. But that’s not where Pearl is headed; she’s going to the Hugh Middleton Center. Guess what’s there? An old folk’s home specializing in dementia care. My guess is she’s looking for the man she got involved with in her flashback back in #772.

Eh, they’re probably far enough away for them to snap out of it.

She didn’t command them to jump of it just swim off it which I assume means swim near it.
I think ‘clicks’ is spelled with a ‘k’; i.e. ‘klicks’.
I looked into this, and apparently both spellings have been used. Though “click” is more archaic.
There is a London Bridge in New Mexico as well.
Sorry, that’s Arizona.

If you refer to Sapphire’s plan, in https://sailorsun.org/?comic=779-not-a-problem-many-guys-have.

“Not everything happens in America”
Whaaaat???

Pearl’s destination is a real world location, and it’s located in London, England
Wow, I completely forgot she was even a plot point lol
I was wondering where she’d get to since stowing away. So, Sirens’ voices aren’t always on auto-command.
Not if the siren has control of her powers, it’s not. Crystal’s talents are …. flawed, likely due to the cloning process.

Must’ve been easy to dis-assemble, what with the old one always falling down. 😀
Crystal is going to meet her “mother”….. 😀
I’m glad we’re getting back to Pearl after she just seemed to drop off the radar.
Awkward question. As someone who is afraid to read the fanfic what are Sailor Sun’s powers in it?
