Bay Smith is a main character. Once a guy, she was turned into a girl several years ago. She keeps this fact a secret, and only a handful of people know.
She's now a struggling actress whose roommate is actually her daughter from an alternate future timeline.
True, but Bay’s height compared to other women in the comic had me thinking she was about five feet seven–in our world at least, the median height for women is five feet five, and Bay never struck me as “above average height” compared to other characters.
There’s an anime out there, middle-school kids, where one male has the “power” to instantly tell any girl’s bra size. The other kids, the girls, are not impressed.
This is one part of the comic which has bugged me a bit. I know two friends who became naturalized U.S. citizens via marriage. Once they submitted their application, INS required the non-citizen to leave the country and not re-enter until the application was approved. Took 1-2 months.
One was here as a visitor (90 day tourist visa), another on a student visa but college was out for the summer. I imagine if your pre-existing visa allows you to stay in the country they would let you. But in Bay’s case she’d need to be employed for her visa to remain valid…
I think she’s terrified that he may find out about her life as Brad. Her expression in panel 6 kinda gives that away. So knowing her measurements, something very intimate about her that she clearly never told him directly, is scary for her.
Up as far as weight were probably questions from the form, not sure about the name change one, but I’m guessing the measurements question was Bay testing Auction Guy to find out how much he knows, rather than actually being on the form.
5’9″?! Ack!
Yes, that is a bit taller than I had pegged Bay at.
Yeah, that makes her taller than me! Which is hot! 🙂
Also, remember that Auction Guy is HUGE. He’d make any tallish woman look short.
you see that new cyanide and happiness cartoon with “lunk”?

Bay, Honey, Crystal and other stats are on the Question and Answer page (link in the menu bar above). If you want to look up other character stats
Good thing he can’t find Bay old name.(eitherwise he maybe will think again for this “marry thing”
He can instinctively tell the dimensions of anything he’s had his hands all over?
That would be a really handy superpower!

Remember, this isn’t our world. The laws are different in that America.
you know, as her Fiance’, you’d think she’d be more flirtatious about how he knew her measurements.

Safe bet, measurements aren’t on a government form. (Maybe height and weight)
Is Auction guy ever gonna get a proper name?
I’m guessing it’s Red. https://sailorsun.org/?comic=713-gotta-watch-your-weight https://sailorsun.org/?comic=575-not-robyn
Patience. 🙂
