I’m from New Orleans as well! I second Storyland in City Park and Cafe du Monde (gotta eat beingets while you’re here!) Go for a walk along the river by the French Quarter. I like to go to the antique and junk shops on lower Decatur Street. For brunch, I love Elizabeth’s in the Marigny (my neighborhood)- if you’re not vegetarian, have the praline bacon and the eggs florentine with fried oysters on top! Feel free to email me as well!
