Bay Smith is a main character. Once a guy, she was turned into a girl several years ago. She keeps this fact a secret, and only a handful of people know. She's now a struggling actress whose roommate is actually her daughter from an alternate future timeline.

    In Panel 2, it should read “…friends that look…” or “…a friend that looks…” Simple number agreement between subject and verb. You know, the stuff they teach in third grade.

      (You’re supposed to insert a line break after a statement like this.)
      It’s simple number agreement between subject and verb. You know, the sort of thing they teach in 3rd grade.’
      Unlike CD, you appear to have plenty of time on your hands and hence should at least use proper English in your reply. I have taken the liberty of correcting your statement with no points deducted, as you’re obviously new to this. However, you should try harder next time.

      It’s the character’s choice of words, so I don’t quibble, so long as the words are spelled right, or at least compatably with how it’s pronounced (if pronounced improperly).
