     Maybe he is getting toward the end here. It could be that this story ends with Bay getting married to Mr. Marks and them all becoming one happy family… or not. XD

   All of this pressure (losing her home and her visa and her income all within the next several weeks) is building towards Bay being very tempted when Marks finally gets around to proposing marriage to her.
