During the weekend I got all geared up to go to my favorite coffee shop, sit down, drink a coffee and make a comic or 2.

It’s one of the things I like to do. It gets me out of the house and talking to others, yet I’m able to work on comics, donation images and other things.

Well, packed away my laptop, walked to the coffee shop (about a 15/20 minute walk) and when I got there, set up and ordered a coffee.  Problem was computer wouldn’t start. It kept crashing during the boot up sequence.

So, after I figured out what the problem was (my Hard Drive crashed).  I started the process of reinstalling everything onto a new hard drive. My Backup DVDs were damaged (Surprise, Surprise), My recovery disks seemed to be wonky and my upgrade Copy of Windows 7 wasn’t accepting the code THAT CAME WITH THE BOX.

After a day of getting the operating system working, I started installing my Software… Adobe had upgraded to CS6 and wasn’t really providing easy downloads of CS5.5 (my key & Suite version) anymore. Plus the corel disc seemed to be suffering the same issue as my windows 7 disc.

SO after a LONG day of problem solving, fixing (Oh and trying to recover the data from my old Hard Drive… (Some important things were on it, Like Aug’s donation image) , I’m still struggling with taming this beast, and hence comic won’t be published till I can get my PC working. (That or I throw my PC threw a window out and get a new one (and a new window))
