Bay Smith is a main character. Once a guy, she was turned into a girl several years ago. She keeps this fact a secret, and only a handful of people know.
She's now a struggling actress whose roommate is actually her daughter from an alternate future timeline.
I really don’t think there are any pancakes up there…..
Poor Teri..
Hope you are enjoying your time off CD.
Go do something fun like, I don’t know, sleep? 🙂
Is this seriously Teri’s first trip to the vet? Shouldn’t they have at least gotten him vaccinated before? That some serious Fridge Logic there, and I’m not sure even Rule of Funny can justify the omission.
He’s a talking, sapient cat. If he didn’t want to go to the vet, he would have made it very clear that he would not let Bay take him. And she would have complied, because she’s not in the habit of forcing sapient beings to do her bidding.
I was thinking about vaccination laws, but apparently those vary from state to state, and I guess they could be further different in the SailorSun.org universe.
However, I figure it’s experiences like rectal thermometers (which apparently Teri hasn’t had before) and injections that make pets averse to going to the vet, so why would Teri have resisted going to get vaccinated before knowing about them?
Vets are strongly stereotyped as being terrible, scary places for pets. Teri would likely have developed a strong disinclination towards going to one from exposure to the stereotype.

“AHHHH” ? From just having your temperature taken? … Oh right, rectal thermometer.
I’ve had one too many anal thermometers. I refuse to have check-ups in the pokecenter pokecenter now.
It’s worst if they poke off-center. 😉
Heaven forbid.
