Bay Smith is a main character. Once a guy, she was turned into a girl several years ago. She keeps this fact a secret, and only a handful of people know.
She's now a struggling actress whose roommate is actually her daughter from an alternate future timeline.
Letting go of the past is hard to do, but must be gone to move on in life.
Brad coming back now would not make anyone happy at this point, Bay/brad included.
Of course, given the tendency of the universe toward maximum humor, Bay will revert to Brad right as her veil gets flipped up before she’s kissed at the wedding ceremony. After that’s been milked for everything it holds, though, Brad will turn back into Bay.
Since when did Bay know that Berry knows that Bay used to be Brad? Is she just assuming that Berry was told by Travis, etc.? I am 99% certain that Bay does not know that Berry is an alternate version of herself…
Yeah, it’s part of the Travis relationship. Trav has referred to Bay as “Brad” on the phone a few times, even with Berry present. We can assume that Bay assumes that Trav told Berry everything, while the truth is far more…complex.
That’s probably true, but it’s also possible that Bay just doesn’t realize she’s blurting out a huge secret to a near-total stranger. She’s pretty distraught, after all.
Funny. I remember the comic before that one, and the comic after that one, but not THAT one…might have updated on a week I was really busy and I missed it, I guess. HATE it when I do that. >_<
Yes, of course, and since Robyn looks just like a gender-swapped AG and Robyn wouldn’t recognize Brad as Bay, Brad might accidentally wind up with both of them getting the hots for him…uh, how exactly is this a terrible problem for Brad, again?
Think about it; every time there’s been any real gender-swapping, transformation or anything really weird recently, it’s been David, Honey, Crystal and Ethan, as well as the cats. I think Bay’s drama is going to be about Red finding out she was a guy, or that she didn’t know his name, or both, and transformation won’t be the issue. Unless the wedding is going to be the end, and CD’s going out on a major bang, there shouldn’t be that many shenanigans and drama’s going to be the main aspect. If it is the end, then majorly bang, CD… I mean, like, a bunch of transformation hijinks don’t… look, just leave the rule 34 to the fanfics.
Honey’s timeline is considered an “alternate” future–the moment that she came back in time, her past still-in-the-womb self ceased to exist since two versions of the same person can not coexist near an active time portal (Honey and Brady, or Ams and Teri, can interact and touch because they are not near an active time portal).
This is a mistake I was making at first, too, but there’s actually a self-consistent explanation that was established several years ago.
Some time after Brad became Bay, her bosses drugged her at a bar with the intent to have her get pregnant and have a kid (yes, they are that scummy). She did, and then they used their time portal to grab said kid from the future. That’s Honey.
They then did this again shortly afterward, but going a shorter distance into the future to grab her, bringing Brady into the current timeline. But when they did that, Bay was close to the time portal, and this caused the unborn child inside her to vanish, due to timey whimey shenanigans.
So Honey and Brady now exist in a timeline where they were never actually born. They cannot go back to their respective futures, because those timelines don’t exist any more.
Sweetie, based on what’s happened to you so far, even if you don’t get married you’re never gonna be Brad again.
OTOH, maybe there’ll be a last-minute miracle…

Check the YouTube link in my second post at the very top.
Let’s not forget that she legally changed her name to Bay.
She did? When did that happen? I can’t remember.
This happened quite a while ago. https://sailorsun.org/?comic=01252010
That might be true unless Marks is into guys as well. You’re in a state where lesbian weddings are legal?
They’re legal in every state, now. Well, at least the United ones.
…surely Brad and the Auction Guy wouldn’t have a lesbian wedding.
Maybe in that Timey Wimey timeline where Auction Guy was Auction Girl…

It is explained in comic.
Really? Here’s the reference comic,

It’s possible Bay realized that Berry is an alternate self, but since that universe doesn’t really exist anymore, decided not to say anything.
Sorry, Bay ain’t that bright. But if she was, this comic wouldn’t have been half as funny.
knowing how this comic usually goes she will change back at the wedding, and maybe her husband to be will swap genders as well.
Considering Time Travel shenanigans has shown us that gender-swapped AG looks just like his sister Robyn, that would be awkward at best.
“Awkward” (aside from being a rude euphemism on the “Misfile” board as a verbed noun) wouldn’t even BEGIN to describe it…

I don’t know, I think you’re wrong.

If she really thought about things, the fact that Honey exists means she never changed back.

Except Brady was there first.
Brady gets pulled out (with a bang): https://sailorsun.org/?comic=01082010
Brady sent away, Honey pulled out: https://sailorsun.org/?comic=02012010
Whoops, my bad. Still, that doesn’t really change my explanation of why Honey could exist even if Bay changed back into Brad.
