Personally, I would have stood off to the side until they broke it off themselves. But there may be extenuating circumstances for interrupting a lip lock.
Would Bay approve of Honey and David lip locking?
Well, I’d hope that Bay wants Honey to be happy. But I can’t recall her ever pulling rank on the kid. (which means that it probably happened & I read too many comics so I forgot it.)
I like that Bay is all motherly and concerned looking by this.
