I’m hoping that’s “I’d rather be in Honey’s body because it’s most like mine”, rather than any other reason. I’m a might concerned ’bout that boy.

I know, right? All this gender-bending bodyswapping seems to be having long term effects on him.
Male brain in female body over long periods of time does that to a person.
And considering the number of times it happened to Ethan I am not that surprised anymore… ^^;;
When a young, shy, antisocial nerd with glasses that obscure their face gains the power to change their body in any way fit, and they begin dating a very attractive person of the opposite sex who only appears to be atttracted to them, they begin to show symptoms of what is known as “The Verres Effect”.
The subject will typically go through many psychological changes as well as physical, and will go through the following stages:
1. Perversion. During this stage, the subject will show an enhanced attraction to every person of the opposite sex that they encounter. They become much more likely to sneak into places that are gender-restricted, such as public changerooms or bathrooms, just to sneak a peek. Unbeknownst to them, however, this is not truly attraction, and instead it satisfies them on an intellectual level. With their recent partner in the mix, this change will come much faster.
2. Experimentation. Once they have discovered the route of their perversion, they undergo a mental transformation, unlike their physical ones. They gain an unnatural craving to change into everyone they encounter, which will satisfy them for a time.
3. Normalisation. The subject will show less signs of being socially awkward, and more signs of communication amongst their peers, new or old. Things that seemed taboo at the time no longer even faze the subject, who is happy in their life. Sure, they retain some of the aspects that made them who they are, but they also begin to get more rebellious, and they will push for the freedom to do what they wish. They may also turn out to be a wizard. You never really know with these things.

I think it’s probably because Ethan wanted a better role in the wedding, like doing Honey’s job with the preparations.
Maybe he’d prefer one of the longer bridesmaids dresses? They are at least a bit more conservative than Crystal’s usual fair.

I have a strange feeling that Ethan and Crystal might be stuck in each other’s bodies due to the siren gunk Tom spilled on Ethan-in-Crystal’s-body. I don’t know why, I just have a hunch. Though, given Crystal’s apparent preference for Ethan in a girl’s body, that might not be a bad thing . . .
And given Ethan’s apparent interest is being in Honey’s body, he might not mind being stuck as Crystal, either. hehe
In my own opinion, I rather have Crystals body than Honey. Also, how long was the swap been active. If anything, once the swap is over, Ethan is going to have some weight come off his shoulders.

Actually, I don’t think Ethan has unswapped today, yet. He swapped with Crystal earlier, in HRC, and is still swapped with her now.
That’s not to say that bringing this device can’t lead to such unswap/swap shenanigans later, though. heh
